Thought I'd share this. To this day, this car's performance amazes me. It still stands as the quickest and fastest drag car ever. I got to see the Vega run. It was either at Raceway Park or York US 30 when I was a kid, I can't remember. I also found some videos of the car making runs.

Guess not!
For those who do, it was a rocket car driven by Sammy Miller that ran 3.54 e.t. at 386mph in the 1/4, and 1.67 in the 1/8 back in the early '80's. These type cars have been banned in the u.s.
