 Cry

Dave, if you don't mind me asking, why did you sell it? Is the buyer a local racer?

Sorry to see you let such a beautiful piece go.

Todd alot of different reasons for selling I don't have the money to keep up at this point being the main reason Charlie went 50s at vmp and the $$$$$$ it would take for me to get anywhere close is just not happening my combination has really no more in it at the weight I need to be so instead of crying about it I will just move on

But Dave, with the 200 lb nostalgia weight break Rich is giving us next year, you'd have been right in the mix.

Guys...This was just a failed attempt at sarcastic humor on my part.  You wouldn't believe how many people contacted me to see if I'm serious about the 200 lbs.  If the old cars got a 200 lb break, Charlie would likely tan our hides with one of his big old Fords instead Wink

Oh Pale Rider  what a sight to see, A  FE FORD  justa flying.  Wheels up and sounding like a 10000 rpm small block. As Lee would say, GOT TO LOVE IT.
Did anybody see The BBR mustang  with the wheels up in this weeks National Dragster?  page 72  Nice to see "our racers" cars in print.
