After many "decisions" Im going to give the 10.5 class a try. I picked up my new trans today, a Jerico DR-4. Im still working on a cylinder head package.
I know I won`t be the quickest out there but I will have fun Heads up racing.
I call my car the "poor mans NMRA hot street car" Cheesy

I know of a motor I would like to buy...A couple of years ago I put together a sbf for a friend and we ran it in NMCA Hot Street. It was a 364 cube, Yates headed, SVO block, alum. rods, Ross Pistons, etc....motor ran ok, I would say it was around 775hp. But the gentleman he sold the motor to never took it out of the crate, and he wants to sell it back to him for 5K. What a deal, if I had it  . I believe the car was capable of a 9.20 at 3000 lbs. For the money, not bad.

Oh sorry, ramblin on there...wish ya lots of luck in 10.5!!

well we to are going to start building our car around this class Smiley , i have always been a pump gas/radial tire. advocate, so i guess now ill have to try some high comp. and slicks,[as the radial tire you use would look like a 6.50-13 in my wheel well] as i really cant compete with my normal 8-1 LOL
pulling engine this weeek for refitting, and a real cam   heres a pic of car thnx bob
