I have most of the parts for my motor.  I have Oliver billet rods, Bryant crank and Diamond pistons on there way from Engine Systems in Georgia.  The motor won't be finished until sometime in the late spring.  I still have to finish the car after that.

With my budget, i won't beable to race this season Sad  (Drag Radial)

I want to use a tunnel ram, but I like to keep things tucked under a stock hood. So I have the Stage V dual quad intake in the photo.

I was originally going to build a hemi for my Cutlass first, but have decided to run my street car (Challenger) once it is done, then build the Cutlass.

The motor pictured goes to the Challenger.  The Cutlass will receive a race motor.

The motor for the Challenger;

572ci, 4.5x4.5
HP Performance Aluminum Race dual cross bolt block
Stage V Hemi Heads CNC ported by Modern Cylinder Head
4.5" Bryant Billet Crank
7.1" Oliver Billet Tall Deck rods
Diamond custom pistons 11:1
Stage V Rocker Gear
Stage V dual quad intake port matched
Custom Crower Roller cam
Pair Holley 830cfm DP
Milodon Gear Drive
Mechanical water pump and solid fan

Rest of drivetrain;

Clutch undecided
Passon Performance Custom built A833 4spd (standard gear ratios)
4-link, Dana 60 w/ 3.54 gears
325/50R15 M/T ET Radials

My custom Diamond pistons arrived today from Engine Systems inc.  My 7.1" Oliver Billet rods should be arriving shortly along with the rings and bearings.  My Bryant Crank should be here in an aching 4 months!

I will have my block final honed and surfaced for cometic gaskets soon.  I still have to buy rocker gear.

I placed the new piston next to an old Super Stock piston for comparo.

My heads are conventional. stock port locations, valve angles, and even valve size.  They just flow 460cfm Grin

The race motor for the Cutlass will have the Millenium Heads.  Millenium Heads will have to be ran in 10.5 class.

It's been a long 15 weeks since I ordered it, but it is finally here.  My 4.5" stroke Bryant crank.  My friend Darren from Engine Systems in Georgia took care of supplying me with my rotating assembly.

The Stage V heads are not on the list for DR, so I doubt they are legal, but again it is up to Rich to make the final call...
