Any of you Chevelle guys running drop spindles on the front to try and make the air go around the front of the brick? Do they look better stance wise?  Waste of money? Huh?

I'm running stock spindles. My car sits low. It was up higher with the drag springs and stock control arms, but when I put the tubular arms in it dropped it a little more.

Ratman,

I was trying to look at photos of your car, Chris D's and there are a few more in AMI and see if I could tell the difference.  Looking at the body line near the bottom of the door, you can see that Chris's car and the blue 68 in AMI the center of the wheel is at this line.  If you look at the pict of my car on this post, you can see the center of the wheel is below this line.  But what I can tell is that both of these other cars are running the tubular A arms.  If the A arms made that much difference, I'm leaning towards saving the money or buying coil overs instead of the spindles. What brand coilover where you gonna buy? We had qa1, and they sucked. I still run a stock style drag spring with the tubular a-arms and a double adj. shock.

check on the a-arms you are planning to run. a lot of the tubular a-arms have a lower spring seat on them which can give problems with ride height and travel using the QA1 Pro Coil system

I have a TRZ front and rear tubular suspension setup which I believe are made to run a stock style spring.  What spring and what double Adj. shock do you run Ratman?

Thanks to both for the knowledge!
