I own a stereo shop in South Haven Mich. We do cars, boats and all home stereo including custom home install. The name of my store is Johns Stereo. We have been open for 13 years. 269 637 1994 phone. I was raised in the body shop business and have owned two shops. I sold one 8 years ago and closed the other 4 weeks ago. 40 years of that business is enough!

I am the Sales Manager for a company that rebuilds industrial vacuum pumps....and no my job doesn't "suck."  Basically I travel all over the country meeting with maintenance personnel and engineers and convince them to send their pumps to my company when they fail.  I get to go into a lot of cool plants which is the fun part of the job.  We rebuild pumps for semiconductor companies, solar panel manufacturers, specialty metals manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, automotive sub-suppliers, etc.

Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences...I work in the hearing industry running an office in the Pocono's.
I do advanced hearing testing, OSHA Hearing conservation, hearing aids and repairs, musicians monitors, custom ear plugs, etc.....pretty much I do anything involving hearing, improving hearing, and protecting hearing.

Other than that I have a 28x40 garage at home that has a steady flow of projects moving thru it (did I mention that when I was younger I was a machinist/fabricator/welder for 4 years?).  So I'm constantly doing something out there whether it is for myself or friends.
It's a constant struggle between getting dirty on the weekends and appearing very clean Monday thru Friday.  I've found that a beanie hat, long sleeves, and mechanics gloves go a long way  Grin

Oh, and I'm a husband of one and father of 3.

LOL!  I was trying to word it that it didn't sound funny....originally I put "Husband and father of three".
I wouldn't want anyone to think I was insane enough to have 3 wives.  Hell, I have enough of a time trying to figure 1 out....I surely wouldn't want 3.

Redgar, the usual is "can you hear me now.....GOOD!".  It's all good though, I get that stuff a lot...it comes with the job.  I don't mind though, that and a 35 hour work week is how I make my living.  Cool

Lee, I had to laugh. I was thinking the exact same thing when I read that. Glad to see he's not a polygamist!
