track rentals ?

 rich, you mentioned track rentals in one of your posts a while back. is there one track in general that you use ? we being from new jersey [ bill & his racing buddies ]  use atco !  you being centrally located in pa. , i would think you would use a nearby track ?  the reason i'm asking , bill told me they got atco in april, after a triple rainout in 2007 !!!!!!!!!!  shadow         oops!! i used the " R " word !!!!

 i take it that's why it's not on the 2008 schedule ?  it must of been one helleva problem !!! after the flack about beaver springs !!!  and you're going back there ?  do you have an answer to the original question ? shadow

I like Atco. But you can't schedule events that has no chance of getting completed (1 round). At least Beaver Springs finished. Even though it was a long ride for alot of people, VMP was nice. Just not enough participation.

I agree with all accept I had no issue with Beaver.

 so at most/some of the events, there are multiple organizations competing for the time ? more or less overbooking the track with the BIGGEST DOG getting the bone !!!!!!!!!!!! shadow

You would think it would work that way, but not in this case, we were the largest formatted group of people there that day, and they just ignored that we were even there. Then they confronted me at PRI and was upset that they werent on the schedule for this season. Actually insulted me for not calling them and telling them that we did not want to come there this year. Wasnt aware I was under a multi year contract 
I pretty much thought it was self evident when everyone in the world made a stink about how we got shafted last year and I never called to ask for a date nor answered any of there email or phone call apologies. But I guess they are right, I should of called to tell them what we were doing and the REASON why. I woulda got more satisfaction out of that.

NEW TRACK RENTAL POLICY  - Effective January 1, 2008 the track rental structure will be changed as follows.  All track rentals will be for a period of (6) hours.  1 to 5 cars $2,500.00, additional cars up to a total of (10) cars add $100 per car for a maximum of $3,000.00.  All rentals include track preparation with VHT traction compound, ambulance on stand by and track personnel.
