Spent hours washing the car so hopefully it gets some attention.

Because their rules say no employees, families, sponsors or race coordinators or something like that.
Because I am the coordinator of the Corvette Challenge series at E-town, I am disqualified from participating in the 16 if my ET is picked.
The Pinks folks feel I am too influential and don't want anyone saying that a class was picked because of me or that I won because I am a Corvette Challenge series coordinator.
The sad thing is the fact that you asked proves they are wrong.

What time is everyone getting there on Friday?
Chris Ely told me at the one in Commerce,Ga,he waited about 6-7 hrs just to get in!!!
The gates open at 7am....I'm thinking it might be better to show up around 9am-10am....at least if there's a line it should be moving since the gates are open???

Guys, if there is any racer who does not have a N/A Shootout T-Shirt that needs one for their day at PINKS, that maybe doesnt already have an agenda for the day, please let me know and I will make sure you get one. I am hoping we have a good showing for all of the N/A Shootout racers and I hope the day is favorable for you. If we happen to get some form of exposure for the race series then that would be nice also. Go give em hell guys. You guys definately showed tyour potential at MG, so take no prisoners at E-Town guys!!!

Bill the way I understand the entry procedure and why it takes so long is that there is additional "registration" stuff, like the pictures, that pinks staff does and they only take in 25 or so at a time. So you have to wait for full processing for them before they take in the next group.
My Corvette buddies are meeting at 5:30 am to be there by 6 AM Friday.
I cannot make it till Saturday. I am leaning toward a 7 am arrival. For me though, I cannot win so I can get there even later.
