"RANT ON"
I know this has been beat to death BUT I have had 3 Goodyear Marathon's "loose a belt" in 300 miles.  Shocked I had one go bad 2 race's ago, Fun Ford in VA, No problem I carry 2 spares. So I thought I would check out before Mason Dixon. Yep last 2  starting to loose there belts.  soo less then 3 years old about 5000 miles tread depth at least 50% and there all bad. 4th one went bad in the spring. No more Goodyears for me!!
Do yourself a favor and check you trailer tires out.
"RANT OFF"
I want see you all arrive safe at Mason Dixon. Grin

They start to get out of round. It looks like the tread is sticking up alittle, then they blow up like a balloon and tread falls off, and you are past the "now I have a problem"    Huh? Boom  Shocked now you are changing it allong side the road.  If the tires is looking old has age cracks, or pregnate  replace it. and as many people before me have said if one has gone bad they are all bad.
Redgar if I had not read a post like this months ago I would have been in  deep $hit sunday with two more bad tires and only one spare. I knew to look for it. saved me.

while we are on this subject, where is a good place to get replacement trailer rims without spending an arm and a leg for one of those Alum. ones from Jegs or Summit? My local trailer place only gets them in already assembeled with the goodyears and the last time I needed an extra on I bought the wheel and tire just to take it to a local tire shop to hae then dismount the goodyear and put on the carlisle...

that and my last blowout going to Beaver took out the rim, it think it bent the rim slightly...
