This past year has been a very difficult one here, as many of you are aware. Within this last year and a half we have endured a major car accident that our son was involved in on 295 in Delaware, one of the worse you have ever seen, my son was thrown out the back window as it rolled end over end, he came out ok, thank God, but he lost his best friend in that accident. A few months later we lost Tina's father who she was trying to take care of while he was in a nursing home and not getting very good care there. This past January the same son was arrested for his involvement in something he shouldnt be doing and has been incarcerated since, we go to court on Monday where he will be sentenced anywhere from 5-8 years in prison. This is my oldest that I raised many years on my own as a single parent, we are best friends. Also this past race season has been a little bit more of an effort from the off season and PRI all the way to the last race its been non stop go-go-go. Our one son Danny broke his arm at the last event, now we have all of this commotion on the forums right now, and business is always full blast 7 days a week and many nights til very late.

I just want to say thank you for all of you that call and ask about Buddy, those of you who wish us well and pray for us. We appreciate all of your kindness and patience when I havent been at my best here lately, and I know it shows, I try to address all concerns with an open mind and as much understanding as possible. But I know I havent conducted myself properly at times and gotten worked up about things and even barked at a few of you at the events or maybe on the phone. I sincerely apologize and want all of you to know that we care deeply about all of our racers and friends and again thank you for your thoughtfullness during all this crap we are living thru right now. I feel that good things are right around the corner for our family and the race series and we hope you all stick around to enjoy it with us.

I dont get to say it much with all thats going on but.........Thank you!!!

Our prayers are with you Rich and Tina. I hope all goes well. I have 4 kids and I know how you can worry about how they are and what they are doing. I can't imagine what you are going through with Buddy. I hope that what he is about to indure is not too much for both him and you, and that he will come out better for it. Plus, I promise I won't get mad at you.

You are welcome and thank you for sticking with the program through all the turmoil.

Running my Corvette series and often find myself question why I stepped up to this and often want to give up but then I find it hard to stop.

Keep your chin up champ, and thank you for giving us a kick ass place to race. Just keep your mind focused on what is important and the rest will fall in place.

I'm not sure if I qualify as one of the "good friends" since I was a little behind on all the stuff you're going through. Keep up the good work and try not to let all the crap life throws at you get you down. We've got your back, and if nothing else we are a sounding board.

Rich,
You're really quite a guy! A normal man would have buckled under a long time ago.  Keep the faith buddy and always know we are only 15 minutes south of you if you need anything.  You are all in our prayers.

Hey Rich thats why us D/R guys are here, to take your mind off things. When anyone is feeling down, you just turn to the D/R forums. Some of the shit we come up with over there you could'nt make up Cheesy

When theres drama in D/R, the views on the board go threw the roof.LOL
