Thinking about taking a trip in a month or two to Vegas to visit a grandmother who is 91, may be an appropriate time to go see her. While we were out there we were thinking about going to Edelbrock in Torrance which is on the other side of L.A.. I was just wondering what the drive was like, looks like 4-5 hrs. thru the desert. Can anyone elaborate?

My g/f says you have it right she has made that trip before.  4 to 5 hours of desert pretty self explanatory.

Figure 5 hours but it can be done in less time.....everybody drives like 100mph across there. Just make sure my heads are done before you go out there!

I commute from LA when working in Vegas ....... 4+ hour ride ......... the last casino before CA has freakin fantastic food cheap ...... So I always stop there ........ Edelbrock is freakin huge plan at least a day there..... get Smitty to do the tour and don't miss the car collection around the corner (ask him about the private race car collection in the shop with the show rigs)

Thanks for the info Jimmy, yea I plan on talking to Smitty here soon and see if I cant set up a meeting between us and to check it out at Edelbrock. I am hoping to convince them to come on board a little more this year.
