I don't know much about this type of racing, but why get the cars so heavy?  It seems instead of adding weight for non-conventional heads, ladder bars, four links, sheetmetal intakes etc. that you would give weight breaks to the cars that don't have this stuff.  It would be alot easier on parts, I like the idea of N/A racing and don't want to stir any trouble just asking?

Wow, first 10.5 post on new board...Here goes, a couple of resons for this, first off there are already a few organizations that run similar rules and weights, and we wanted to accomodate an already existing field. Also, the design of these cars only allow for so much weight reduction in them. The scale we are at now seems to be obtainable for everyone and put them all in the ET range originally desired.

Thank you...It is a great field of racers and an action packed day of side by side racing. Plenty of room for more, come on out and play.
