you may not be the only one, I think I might be somewhere near 11.0, but still haven't done any of the work I would need to see so I just threw out my best guess. I still need to get the cage finished, do the heads and cam swap, but before then I have to decide on the best cam for my combo, I have a small cam that would give me a little extra, but hell, this will be practice in spec'ing out cams so why not. Between that and running an 11.56 during qualifing after signing up for the 12.0 index last year (with stock heads, cam, and more available in the tune then when I ran it), I would hope even after all was said and done I could at least get into the 11.50 index, but who knows at this point, I may end up back in the 12.0 index...  Lips Sealed

Not to worry.  I was very optimistic last year with 10.50 but spent most of the season in 11.00.

This year, once again I am optimistic but hopefully this weekend will tell.  If I cannot run in the 20's this weekend I am in trouble

It's been in the 10.5s, but it won't be that quick under the conditions the races will be run at the 3 events I'll be attending (the 2 at Cecil and MIR's).   I've decided the rest of the tracks are too far away to drive the car, but still want to support the series for the events I can make.

Edgar, you have been doing THE LIST every year and you do a great job of it, keep up the good work. I know we usually have more than whats posted at each of our events but seriously, if onlookers see how many cars are within the class, they can see its a serious place to race, alot of fun, rolling into the beams with some of the greatest racers around. If you are going rounds in AMI, you are one bad dude!!  Afro

No AMI for me this year Brian. Tanya and I are going to try to make it to a couple to see everybody that we don't see at the Cecil street car stuff. Good luck to all! Season is almost here!  Wink

Hey Steve, everyone is great as I hope the same for you guys. We're changing quite a few things this winter. Looking at 8.50 index and maybe some 275 stuff. It's gonna take a little time to get a handle on all the changes and new routine, so we'll see in time. Take care and see ya soon  Smiley.

REDGAR, it's surprizing that only 2 people answered the roll for A/AMI , there were 10 in 2008, hope more will join the roll, you being the stats guy, how many A/AMI racers got into the TOP TEN in 2008 ?  SHADOW  Wink Wink Wink

I looked at that as well and found some, like Marc, are focusing this year on different series.  One of them moved up to 10.

REDGAR, maybe the 9.5 guys found it DIFFICULT getting wins over the rest of the class, & decided to go into something closier to their index , chasing down cars all day long isn't easy !!!!  SHADOW   Wink Wink Wink

"I'm kicking ass in both lanes" Sebring? Must be some other reason. Maple Grove had quite a few 9.50 cars last year, one of which I believe won the event.

MATT, thats what were saying, RICH made provision for 2008, got 10 cars on the roll call, so far this year its only 2, also this year also included cars other than RWD only, & it looks like no one is taking advantage of this change so far, if people ask RICH for changes to the series, & RICH makes the changes & it dosen't yield a good response, it will hinder the chance for any future changes . the idea of the changes are to increase car count & bring new & different cars to the series !!!!  JMO   SHADOW   Wink Wink Wink
