question for rich...

Rich,
As you know, the weather around here has not made working on our cars this past week very pleasant (my garage still isnt completed). I have the car almost ready to go now but have not had a chance to make brackets and install the passenger seat yet. Is it going to be a problem if I show up at Maple Grove without a pass seat in AMI? I will have it in before Numidia. Thanks.

taken from the AMI rules, "Two seats are preferred in stock location."
I've been known to take out my pass. seat to shed 44lbs so I can run the number if needed. I think Rich will let you slide.
See ya at the Grove!

Thanks guys. I really did not think that it would be a problem, considering the way the rules are written (and a pass seat out does not really give any advantage). Just wanted to be sure, so there were not any problems on Sunday. See you guys at the Grove!

Scott, its nice to see that my rules are understood or should I say the meaning behind the rules are understood amongst everyone within the organization. We do prefer to have the cars all look complete and underplayed as a street type car, but lets face it, its not a performance factor in an index car to whether the car has 2 seats in it or not, I guess the only real requirement would be, you must have atleast the driver's seat, lol. Glad that we will be seeing you on Sunday : )

Rich
I guess that means no milk crates for a drivers seat?

Thanks Rich. I was also able to get Amanda's car into the high twelves (now, just dont get rid of that 13.0 index...lol) over the winter so we will be there with both cars! See you Sunday!
