Was asked by a lot of folks what my car runs at the all out event.
Never really quite knew how to answer.  Being a bracket racer I wanted to answer what the car would run that day just to see if I can hit it  (ask Kent....I can dial a car)

However, it feels better to say my best ET cause that is quicker but there was no way I would run that ET that day so felt like I would have to explain why I ran so much slower than what I said I run and then someone thinking I was not honest.

Just wondering....what do you tell people

I know it is a silly post and ultimately it does not matter but hey, I was a little bored for a few minutes. Tongue Tongue Tongue

I would say the answer depends on the setting; family members, somebody looking at it on the trailer get the best e.t.;  at the track whatever you expect it to run that day.

And yes he can really dial a number it was sickening to watch a car do a burnout hear a number then it run dead on, I need to talk Edgar into   http://drr.infopop.cc/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/55460442/m/634107321

from the way you asked the question, IMO the answer would be your best pass ever, or your average or most consistant pass, i myself would tell you the later, cause right now we are changing a few things, & the car is not running exactly what we thought it would,  or what it ran the last time out, ill shutup now !! I do exactly what Kent mentioned, it all depends on the situation. At the track that day I normally say what I think it will run that day, if I wasn't @ the track and someone asked about it I tell them my best ET... since you asked today I voted best ET, LOL...

Tell them what it usually runs.  Low 10's, Mid 10's, high 10's to low 11's, whatever.  Not 10.473   Roll Eyes

Depending on who it is I might tell them the truth or I might tell them it is a stock 305. I have fun with it.

I do this....but usually it's just "bottom 11's on a radial on Sunday, then drive it to work on Monday" Wink
