We will be hanging out at the Oxford Diner on Friday evening July 14th from 5:30-9:00. Oxford Diner is located 15 minutes north of cecil county dragway in Oxford, Pa. Let me know who is coming so we can make room. There will be an escorted cruise around 8:00 whether your car is legal or not. Come be patrons at the diner and enjoy putting your rod on display.

Rich, any place to park the tow rigs close to the Diner? John Pino said last winter his parking lot could be used but I don't know if the offer is still on the table?

Rich, Greg and I will be there as long as the engine fires. Did you find out if Pino's lot is going to be available for some of the tow rigs? Will Tracy be there for some cool pictures of all the old cars in front of the Diner at night time with all the pink neon glowing. Jeff (the Diner owner) was talking about a picture for a calendar. That would even make a nice RAM RACING calendar (hint, hint). I hope we have enough turn out to at least fill the front of the Diner. Ron/Eric or anyone from your gang are welcome to drop your rig here at our house. We're about 3 miles into town. Pino's would be closer, just up the street from the Diner. If the escorted cruise goes to Nottingham park they are just up the road from my house.

Bob, the cruise will run from the diner thru town to the shopping center, then on the way back hang a right onto Mt. Vernon out to rt. 472 turn left and bring the cars by the memorial park for the crowd there and then back into town to the diner. I will find out about the parking for the rigs, I was thinking maybe back on 4th street behind the diner.

Note to self: Dont use engine builders that are out of state. Makes knocking on their door to make sure they havent forgotten about you very difficult

Remember this is an engine builders' class, we have alot of good people on board with us here supporting the series, any one of those are more than capable of keeping you together sir, plus they are involved, makes their own incentive to get ya done. And you know its gonna be done right because they are there and its their name on the line. Thats why all of our racers are killer fast Rich

Believe me if I would have known about you guys and this series when I was having the motor built, there wouldnt have been a second thought to use one of the guys on here.
The issue was I was originally going to run an LS1 based EFI series and the LS1 is a little different than a SBC as far as what it likes so I wanted to go with a "LS1" shop. Now that that series has gone away because of lack of support I started looking and had a guy looking at LS1's (Actually I think his name is Todd, he won the DR class last year and isnt running this year) and I asked him what series he ran and he pointed me to you guys.
If I knew what I know know I would have a SBC (Cause I have to add almost 400lbs any way) and had one of you guys build it for me.
Live and learn
