For those of you who do not know...That is my oldest son Richard or Buddy as we refer to him. Got to go visit him last week and was even able to get a pic from their carnival type machine there. He has done 20 months he has 40 more to go. He is doing well out there and I feel like I have been holding my breath since he left, cant wait til he gets home so I can breathe again, lol.

Just felt like sharing,

Thanks guys, we are hangin in there. Eventually it will all be done and he will be home. I am quite proud of the transformation he has undergone and sure he "has gotten the picture" of what can happen when you get caught up with the wrong thing.

No-one needs anymore stress, so i'm glad to hear things are looking up for both of you...

I have a nephew that is in for some wrong doings, and i was the closest to him. I'll be glad when he is out and cleaned up.  He seems to be doing better the few months he's been inside.  So it's not all bad there.

No its kinda nice in a weird way....It is a controlled enviornment and he is alive in there whereas the streets who knows, ya know? And when he wanted bailed out, we left him in just to make sure he got the full effect of his wrong doings, it was also $120,000, so that kinda made up our minds too  Roll Eyes

We all did the same with the nephew, he wanted out, but that would have gotten him right back on the streets.  He gained over 40lbs and he sounds great.  By the time he gets out, i hope we have the old Brian again.  He's already talking about camping and going upstate to do a fishing trip..  Thinking clear again.. Fingers crossed.

Hope and prayer to them both for a good turn out.. Smiley

Hey Blake, thats exactly how we feel, and so far he has shown us that the good ole Buddy is back, I really enjoy hanging out with him there on the weekends. He went in at 130 lbs, now he is 180 lbs he does 950 pushups and 950 situps everyday, he is benching around 240 now where before he was lucky to lift 100. All the way around he is NEW. I will definately say a prayer for your nephew.
