howdy OK, so since I have gotten a few PM's and emails asking whats up and where I have been, I figured I would post this for the masses...

I will start by saying: Crap rolls down hill pertty quickly, and if you don't get out of the way fast enough everything comes out pretty shitty...

I mentioned the first part of this to some of you when I saw you @ Cecil, but Marie is expecting.  baby Grin She is due in January and we have beeen putting a lot of work into the house and getting finances in order. So, that slowed my car/racing hobby progress. (don't get me wrong, those are good things)
Then I started a new job a few months back in the hopes of getting more time/money for the car hobby, house, and new baby. Well, that really didn't happened, I never got more time and actuially ended up with less personal time taking me off the boards and away from the car stuff. It did allow me to afford buying a new (to me) truck, then to add to all this I lost that new job shortly after taking a big chunk of money out of savings for the down payment on the new truck and it has ended up putting me in the hole. Add to that the new truck has a dented bumper, the fix is less than my deductable, and I don't want to report it to insurance for fear of my premium going up, and I don't really have the deductable or cash for the new bumper. So I am paying for a new (to me) truck that looks all jacked up, and it makes me sick when I look at it so I don't even drive it anymore... embarrass

Now, I am still unemployed, still fighting to get out of the hole buying the new truck got me in, and not really in the mood to think about all the stuff that needs to be done to my car...  no

So the short version, I didn't get out of the way when crap started rolling down hill, and now I am not in the mood to be online wishing I was back where I was a few months ago, so I avoid it. That's why I haven't been checking in and stuff...

John,  first off let me say congrats!!  Things can change in a blink of an eye.  Kids, family, and finances can change everything....and sometimes when it seems like it's for the worse, it ends up being better.  Things have a funny way of working out in the end.  I wish you and your wife the best of luck with the new family.

Hey guys thanks a lot for the congrats. baby Our son Gabriel was born on Christmas eve (25 days early) and turned a month old yesterday. baby All in all everyone is fine, nothing too exteme but we still have some follow up appointments and surgeries at CHoP in the next few months.  hurt

As for me and the car, I got a temp position for a 2 months and will be unemployed again as of next week. But with the issues with Gabriel, Marie and I are talking about me staying home to take care of him as she goes back to work as we are working off of her insurance anyhow. With that being said, nothing new has happened or is planned for the car, but if we can swing it I will still try to be to as many races as we can get to this season...

Thanks again and hope to see everyone again some time soon...
