Can you make more power running a tray that seals the carb to the scoop or just have a scoop molded to the hood with no tray. I also wanted to know if its worth getting a scoop with the back open or closed. Thanks.

Tom, this is just my opinion, you are either bringing air in the front or the rear, but dont have both open or you could cause a syphon right thru over top of your carb. Whichever way you go make sure you use a tray and seal it off to the hood.
