i was gonna leave this alone, but everytime i see it i want to throw up. Sometime while in the lanes during first qualifier of AMI my car door suffered a pretty good shot that took paint off to the primer. not seeing it happen, i obviously cant accuse. yes i remember the car next to me, and looked it over closely, it appeared to be clean with no issue. so i just wanna say thanks to the person who did this. it really amazes me that when i look at caliber and quality of cars at these events that someone would do this, and not man up and atleast say sorry. this car is my pride and joy, and many of you can attest that i do my best to keep it as perfect as i can. so if anyone remembers doing it...come see me, or message me on here. if anyone seen it happen...get in touch with me. i will not mention anyones names. think if it were your car. it makes me sick.

That sucks man! Any chance it could have been a rock coming off a car in the burnout box? Maybe be far fetched - but I have a friend who was in the lanes and a rock kicked off the tire of a car doing a burnout, bounced off his wife's wedding ring then into his quarter glass and shattered it! I sure hope no one hit it and didnt tell you. I would have!

like i said i cant acuse, i didnt see it. so could it have been a rock? sure i guess. if you see it, size, location...and it looks like the paint is pushed the way it came off. just disheartening. painting that car correctly is big bucks, band-aiding it or just painting a door will be obvious and look like shit. not sure if you know which car, but it was the blue 66 nova that i think you ran 3rd round. |

my pops was driving the car. he hasnt drove in 20+ yrs. so he is learning all over again. he will get a handle on it.
