Unfortunately Royce called this morning and was concerned about how long a day its going to be on Saturday on the hottest day this year. We have agreed to push our event back to August 14th. Same schedule that day but just pushed back a couple of weeks.
Sorry to those who were ready to go and hope you can rearrange to make the next. Again this is MIR's request not mine, though it dont bother me none to have this race pushed back after just being at MG 2 weeks ago. Please take the time to let all your fellow racers know.

That is a bad day. It is super saturday at Atco with top sportsman, top dragster, 10.5, 8.50, 10.0 and 12.0. It will hurt the RAM car counts. I am obligated to go to Atco to help out my buddy Jimmy with his top sportsman car since he helps me all year. Rex usually goes to the t/s races as well???

07/22/10:::::::"Due To Excessive Heat, the East Coast Door Warz Changed to Nighttime ET Series
With the high humidity and temperatures of 100 degrees (plus) forecasted for this Saturday, MIR has made the decision to change Saturday's program to a nighttime Speed Unlimited ET series only - in consideration of our staff, racers and fans.
The Ram Racing Heads-Up Naturally Aspirated Circuit has been rescheduled to Saturday, August 14th. At this time, all of the other classes and circuits have not been rescheduled; those that do will be immediately announced at mirdrag.com. The East Coast Door Warz event however will not be rescheduled this year. NSCRA racers are welcome to purchase a test and tune entry during Saturday evening's program.

Yep just noticed we have a wedding too on the 14th, guess I have to change my rsvp. Oh well, sure we werent going to make or break there wedding anyways.

I hope I can make it. I'm working on the Deepwater Horizon (oil spill) incident response for FDA and if a storm hits the area I'll have to work weekends too.  |
