Pontiac gets hit with a 50lb weight penalty because a guy goes fast one time, for one race, and has no intention of coming back. An active DR guy petitions to Rich that the weight penalty should be removed because it's unjust and Rich agrees and removes it. THEN A DAY BEFORE THE RACE, someone calls Rich and cries that the weight penalty should be reinstated or else he's not coming, nor will other cars! Blah, Blah, Blah...
And what does Rich do, puts 50lbs on a Pontiac! wtf Way to go! boooo

We've been running 70-80lbs light since the cars been out this year...no lying here! Now we have to put 120 lbs in the car to be legal! Have fun tommorrow Perk...you'll be a winner for sure without us there!

That's BS! Phuckin cry babies!  stfu

PS. Perk you wouldn't need to sandbag and/or play the ladder tomorrow because you'll be your only competition.

When you say other cars do you mean the other 2?   Grin  So Jeffy goes out light and runs a 9.03 on a track that I went 1.240 60' on and he gets hit with weight?  That is BS!  Same track same day I went 8.44 @ 3150lbs.  If the air is 2000' or better tomorrow I can run .30's, can I get a lead trophy as well... nono

There is more than just two sides to this entire ordeal. I am hoping all the D/R guys can be there tomorrow to work this and some other knots out of this class to help it to continue on. There is a D/R meeting at 1:30 please be there if interested in being heard. I am contemplating changing alot in the class and want to know what you all think, because if the class doesnt prosper, its gone, and many of you have spent way too much $$$ to let that happen.
