I had to leave before the final in AMI but Dan had the bye into the final and ran 10.009 in Nicole's Firebird. Lee (our great announcer) said...."that's one BAD MAN". Gotta agree, he put me away first round......I brought the wrong car....couldn't run the number......motor's tired in the Buick.....7 years and 600+ passes will do that I guess. Like my old dog.....needs good air to be frisky. Roll Eyes

After that bye run to the final I also heard Lee announce that "Nicole is never getting her firebird back!"

Dan deserves major kudos on this win!  We miss first qualifier... we pulled into the gate as drag radial was running   Sad and his first pass ever in my car he goes .003 on the tree   Shocked Shocked  Then has to do a re-run for second round, goes dead on 10.00 in the bye run, and goes dead on 10.00 AGAIN in the final!  Definitely one bad man!

God I wish my car didn't break!  LOL.  HOPING it's just a fuel pump.  Big thanks to my Dad for letting me run his car...I'm no good with autos though - rolled the beams twice.  Never drove the car before and went an .07 & .05 playing with deep stagng and tapping the brakes! Smiley

I just wanted to say thanks to Rich and everyone else that works their asses off putting on this series.  I am hoping and praying for better car counts at the next few races, they deserve it!  Seriously - anything I can do just ask!
