Congrats fellas!!! w00t  ok

Mike went 8.54 and Booze had a backfire at the line. He never broke the beams.

Jeff went 8.91 @ 152 to Frank Peacock's 9.18 @ 145. Frank was a wheelstanding mofo most of the day! It was awesome watching that car from the line! Smiley

Congrats Mike on your win. It was your day indeed.

I guess I should have pulled the choke cable to gag it a little.

Oh well. I was pleased with our performance & getting to the final.

I was there to make Test hits, but that was not working out with all of the scheduled classes, so entering the race was definately the better option.

11 10.5 cars with several heavy hitters showed some promise.

Congrats Marc on your awesome runs. Looks like you got bit by the back luck bug too.

Congrats Mike.

Not often the underdog gets the advantage and takes the win. You worked hard for it and the win was well deserved.

I'm still kicking myself for what I did first round. I finally got the car to make a respectable qualifying run and gave the race away. For those that didn't know, I did my burnout and failed to put the shifter back into first gear. I left the line with the trans in high gear and the bad thing is, this was the third time I've done that.  Angry embarrass

I'll  see ya at Cecil...hopefully I can redeem myself a bit and not make a total fool of myself...again.  Roll Eyes

Job well done Mike! With good lights and getting ever bit of performance out of the car, all you needed was just that little bit of luck we all look for! Congrats on your win and your performance! Felt like the ol' MSRA days when we all duked it out in DOT and PSI. lol

Congrats on your win Jeff! The bird is rollin dude!

Also congrats to Dave in AMI! You and Cliffy had a tight one! Nice pitting with ya.

Good for you Mike it is nice to see new faces in the winners circle once in a while. You ran fast enough to be there and with a little luck you were. I was fast and would have been faster when the sun went down But buy luck of the draw luck was not with me.

Thank you everybody !!

It felt great to compete againist the best N/A racers in the area, and come away with a victory ! I was able to get two good qualifying shots in and did some minor tweaking from there. As the night went on, I stayed focused on driving......and it payed off on a couple of the rounds.

We all know it takes alot of help to compete and go rounds......and I would like to thank those pepole. Those folks are my wife Lyn, my mother Mary Jane (crew chief), my sister Terri, Dave Wood, Woody Davis. The reliable HP comes from the guys at Burtonsville Performance Machine.......Heath Butler, Bub, Allan, and Steve. And lastly would like to thank my good buddy Todd G.

Congrats to Jeff and Dave for there wins !!
