I'm back!!! Also have a few questions....

2 years ago I was on route to getting something together to come play in the AMI...unfortunately things didn't work in my favor.

Time doesn't allow me to run a complete series but I'm definitely going to be at an event or two in 2011 in the '84 Mustang GT that I'm building.  Car should go 11.50's give or take...I'm feeling like I'll land right at the 12.00 index.
It's a mild 347 and a C4 with a brake.
It's funny because it has been YEARS since I've been this excited about the upcoming season.  I'm anxious to meet some of you and see the very few that I already know again.

I also have a few questions regarding newcomers....
My buddy races a 12.00 65 chevelle and he's also wanting to race.  His car is gutted, has a dash and drivers seat, but no carpet or headliner.  Externally everything is there (lights, etc) but none of it works.

Reading through the rules on the interior it says "preferred"...so what is the ruling exactly?  Can he still run or no?

Yes he can come run, not a problem with anything listed. None of that is really any advantage. Glad to see your interest in the series again.
