Mike Sodano’s 1987 Mustang GT for sale. Mike has owned this car since December 1991. This car is turn key. It’s perfect for open comp, as well as 9.50 index racing. I’m sure it could be slowed down easy enough to run the 10.0 index if needed. Car has been as fast as 9.38@142+ mph. I’m sure if you loosened the clutch and adjusted the tune it may go faster, however Mike runs the 9.50 index so there was no need for us to try to lean on it. This car has been in numerous Ford magazines since 1993, almost 2 full decades!!! The combo is as follows…..

Engine..
363ci. Roush short block 12.8 comp. 8.2 deck
TFS High Port Cylinder Heads
Edelbrock Super Victor manifold ported by Roush
Pro Systems carb
Kooks 1 ¾ to 1 7/8 stepped headers, 3” H-pipe to straight line performance mufflers

Transmission..
G-force F5-R, clutchless w/Long Shifter
McLeod 3 finger Soft Lok Fully Adjustable Clutch

Rear..
8.8 Rear narrowed 2” on each side and braced
4.56 Gears
Moser 33 spline axles

Chassis..
Adjustable Ladder Bar Rear suspension
Front coil overs with Koni struts, Tubular K-member
Mini Tubed
15x10 rim with 28x10.5 slicks, Has fit 29.5x10.5W tire with no issues

Engine was freshened up by Roush winter of 2009
Trans is gone through every winter, every year

That's funny...Between the addition on the house, his business and the baby on the way, there are just other priorities that come first right now. Also, I am available to crew lol...
