Well, for those interested in knowing. The N/A Shootout will be returning for 2011. I wasnt sure at first with the economy being what it is and killing myself year to year doing all this by myself (organizing). So we will be returning and operating with our Drag Radial, 10.5 and our AMI class in 2011. Our rules have been mentioned here a few times as being fair, some have said too confuzing and keeping cars away because of. I truly believe we are the only series that incorporates ALL combos and makes allowances for each and every aspect. Yes one weight for small blocks and one weight for big blocks is simple, but far from fair, lets face it. This season we had a big number of top competing cars for a change, each and every race it could of been anyone to win. Never was like that before. The fact that everyone has spent mucho dollars to get where they are, I wont be changing rules hardly at all for this upcoming season. The hardest thing our season suffers from is being operated by one person, not a track, not a club, not an association that has many paid employees. This is truly a grass-roots series that takes tons of work to get on its feet each year. I am gonna give it my all again this season to do what I can to have the best all motor series out there.

There have been many talks and meetings about our divisional style race series to eventually meet up for a national event for all of us to compete in. Myself, Butch, Mag, and many from both the Canadian races and PSCA have all discussed it at one time or another......Maybe this is the year that we try to put something like that together to maybe showcase our form of racing more and to get more hype about the guys who make this happen on motor alone. I will do whatever it takes to make sure these guys dont go unnoticed.

I am open to any new ideas to give the N/A scene a breath of fresh air. Anything to help our series or the all motor classes to stay alive in 2011. Feel free to contact me with any thoughts on what we can do collectively to make this more attractive to others.......Not talking about how your combo needs a break or what will make YOU a winner this year, but what will make all motor racing a bigger and more viable asset in the racing community.

Thoughts so far for 2011 will be as such (I will be filling you in as we go along)

First off.....6 races on the schedule for 2011 (unless an agreement is made on a national event)

Secondly...3 events will be held at Cecil County Including the season finale, the other 3 will be held at Maple Grove including the season opener.

Sorry thats all I have for now.

Rich I am very happy to hear that NA Shootout will live on.  Thanks for all your hard work.  I look forward to participating as the schedule allows.  I will be in touch when I get my schedule to see if we can work something out to help you out at Cecil.
