I'm IN
I hope something comes out of this because every where I look at racing another series the rules read . NO four links, NO D3 heads, No clutches Trans. No wheelie bars No dry sumps, NO Leonard, and NO G-Force Sponsor.
I don't post on YB I guess I should so I could make suggestions on the rules. If They do allow any of the no's mentioned They kill me with weight. If Ram and Miland could get a little closer on their rules they would have best set of rules. I don't think a four link is any faster than a ladder bar; I had one I know. I am not smashing my front end again with out wheelie bars. No way should a clutchless should carry 100 to 200 lbs over a power glide. If everyone thinks a stick is so much faster why don't you see more of them being used and winning races. Dry sumps Just help save motors. You spend Just as much putting external pumps and Vac pumps on these motors as a drysump costs. What's cheaper dry sumps or motors.
I love the way some of the series say street car series Lets face it they are not street cars they are race cars . Further more, I don't want to be associated with street racing.

I forgot one NO forward mounting Hood scoops. I am ok with a limited height of 5 inches from the hood. In most of these series you are allowed a 6" cowl hood but no 3 inch front mount opening. MORE RULES LESS CARS.

Dry sumps just add weight to the front of a car. With oil pan technology and vacuum pumps out there now, there isn't a significant hp gain for me to consider switching over. I dont have a bearing problem so there is no reason for me to switch over as well. I would love to see the NMCA open their rules to let Leonard and Jay race over there.

Basicly at this point it is just to get a head count of how many people we are addressing here. Is it 10 people? 50 people? or 100s? That is the first step, no rules discussion yet. That will be done later after we get some form of structure first. So go over there and state that you are in, thats all thats needed right now. Then we will move on.

I like the idea only problem i see is everybody wants something for there combo. There is some rules that are just out of line on all series.Like leonard guys that have 4-links are not going to change to something else.LThe weight for clutch is out of line.Dry sumps i have no problem with.Hood scoops, who cares how big they are. There are guys going fast with no hood scoops.

I'm in if they allow 4-links with stock rear frame rails and wheelie bars.
The traction problem with "Olde Blue" is solved!
