Rich, do you forsee any changes to the rules for 2011? I love the idea of running at only cecil and maple groove. I am planning on running the whole series this year , and want to make sure I'm legal.

Thanks.  JB.

Im sure Rich will come and and give a more definate answer, but the AMI rules have pretty much stayed the same each year.  The only one usually even discussed is the muffler rule, but hopefully all stays the same.  Look forward to seeing you there.

the last change was allowing the use of E 85, also if it says PREFERRED , in the majority of the cases it dosen't mean MANDATORY !! if you have any concerns ask RICH !!!   SHADOW   Wink Wink Wink

Rules will be finalized Jan 1 2011. I can tell you that we started to allow alcohol for the last two races of 2010. I see it continuing to be legal for 2011. Mufflers are going to stay mandatory other than the one race waiver. Sorry guys, and I know you say we will gain so many new racers, but the problem is we will end up losing more than we gained because of me changing the rule. Mufflers stay, I allow cones, cant get much simpler than that, seriously, you gotta be able to meet me in the middle on that one : )

What's the big deal about installing mufflers? I don't understand? Why are so many people making such a big stink about it? Put 'em on and go racing!

Hey Guys, haven't been here for a while. Work and Family been keeping me busy. I think the cars sound good with a set of nice mufflers on them. I have a set of Bullet's on my car and it has a nice crisp sound to it. Hoping to get out a couple of times this year. I agree with Brian C, put a set on and go racing! Grin

I have mufflers that I can run on my Buick. (3 in UltraFlo)
But....if the air is bad I can't run 10.50 with them. My motor has 7 seasons (600+ passes) and mufflers used to slow it only about .05 now it's a full .10. I probably need to lean the carb out. Or freshen the motor up.....   Roll Eyes
