Where is the secret race if the points program says you can throw out one of the 7 races?

The same place where you get extra points for attending 7 out of 7 races when only 5 are competed.   hrmm

I didn't much care for the answer I got on points at the end of last season. Both Charlie and Marc bumped be from 4th in points, neither attended all the races. I found out that while everyone dropped a race, they dropped a race in which they never attended. How do you drop a race that you didn't attend. Can't say I agree with that policy.

Granted I didn't accomplish shyt last season and that's my fault, nobody to blame buy myself.

I guess I better not give my opinion on Charlie testing at the MIR make up race, then entering 10.5 and going to the final round. I thought it was a policy that you could not make any test passes prior to qualifying?

I think we all as racers are entitled to our opinions and let you know when we see something we don't agree with. You have the power to either listen and decide if it's something that needs addressed, or if you feel you need to stick to your guns.

I love the series and hope it does well this season. Maybe I should have kept my opinions to myself like always. Seems like when I do give my opinion, I have to defend myself like I did something wrong.

I guess in retrospect this is something that should have been addressed by phone, e-mail or PM.

sorry...

agreed hrmm. The only thing to come out of those comments in writing is a stepping stone for the rest to add to until its an angry mob. Write me with your points ideas.

Well Todd atleast you didnt bring up when a 10.5 racer got 3 qaulifiers at Numedia and went from last place to #1 Qaulifier. It didnt change anything but the ladder and the points surprise

Or letting a D/R car enter a race that he never even ran any of the qaulifiers in.

Holy shit guys  I was only trying to have a little fun with Rich's math not start a war. If you have a problem with something this is NOT the place to bitch. Put on your big boy panties and call or see Rich face to face, I am sure none of you want to run the series, give the man some credit for trying. I think he is doing a good job and he needs some support from all of us. If you are so upset with the series then don't race but let's not condemn Rich for doing this for us.

-Thanks Cyclone, thank you for your appreciation, yours and many others is what helps moving this thing forward.

-Ron, we have already been over this, HJ never ever staged the car when it rolled thru the beams, I have it on dvd. So in essence when he was trying to bump the car in with the brake and it wasnt working the car just went forward thru the beams, he didnt force to be allowed to run again. The track made that decision, when they said he did not stage the car, and asked if it will footbreak they allowed it. As far as it taking up someones time or making them overheat waiting on him, I am pretty sure he was the last one in line and a bye at that. Yes I have made many mistakes, if that was one of them, I apologize, have been for the last three years, dont seem to matter much though. You guys keep slappin me in the face with that one.

-We have always allowed cars that have paid entry, went thru tech, no qualifiers, go in the field to the bottom. Its always been that way, its an all run field, I have allowed many people over the years that couldnt make it there til later in the day, have their kid tech the car for them, miss qualifying and they come in at the bottom. Its happened to many times to list, I know at our last event, we had cars coming late into AMI when they were going up for first round, go right onto the ladder.

-But you were right about one thing Ron, thats to not allow my anxiousness to be aired here either, that would make for better business if it is not known, I will give you that one. So I have allowed Todd to keep his post up while I pulled mine down. Todd post what you want, I know you dont want to start any problems, I always know where you are coming from, and I understand you.

-Lastly, I was under the impression that Charlie had run one run prior to his second round qualifying, I figured it wouldnt hurt any since he needed to add weight and whatever he had learned prior would be tossed out the window. I was at fault for allowing that, I take full responsibility for that. I have no defense for allowing him in other than wanting more cars to race with us, while doing that I overlooked the implications, again another mistake. After uncovering all of my faults, and mistakes it would make more sense to put someone else in charge. The job is still open for anyone more competent than me to come run this thing, because I have shown I dont have the ability.
