To help my Dad with his new set up in his car. 1964 Dodge Polara, Square tube Alston Pro Stock chassis circa 1985. This is the same kit that he sold for the Camaro in 1985 with some changes made to it to fit his car. The first time we had it out was in 1989 and ran it until 1996 when he parked it. The fastest it had been with the big block Mopar motors was 9.60@135

It now has a 555 Shafiroff engine. 6 1/8 mile hits since putting the motor in last August. 1.20 60' 5.40 1/8 He said if it felt good he was gonna run it to the 1/4 and see what she would do. 8.80@ 151 letting out just before the 1000' mark.

This is what I went to pick up at the end.

Sorry to see the wreck. Hope your dad was unhurt in the accident.

Any idea what caused it?

Said his foot hurts thats all. He said that the front end got real light and started to to blow over. There was a real bad cross wind and when the front came up it went over on its roof. The car had alot of open area in the front end.
