Many of you are familiar with the bright orange 67 Camaro in AMI which you could find in the lanes at almost every AMI event thru-out the years with the nicest person you could ever meet behind the wheel...Stan Riley. Stan made every race he possibly could, and was dedicated to the series. He and his brother Bryan used to call often to discuss the upcoming year and how stoked they were to be coming out and not just racing but enjoying their day with the great friends made within the series. He had just purchased a new car and had only made some license runs and one test pass to get ready for this season's upcoming AMI schedule. I am so sorry to post, but Stan, so well liked in the Shootout Series, was blind-sided, diagnosed with cancer. Stanley, without the time to even think about it passed away on Monday at 57 years old. I will miss Stanley, what a joy and priveledge it was to have been his friend.
