I was at MG running in the bracket race this past Saturday.  They made an announcement that the race from 5/14 has been rescheduled for 6/19/11.  Is this true?  I wondered because, I haven't seen anything on here yet.

I left a message for Lex to call me. That is not my intention to run two races back to back. I want to reschedule sometime in September if at all possible.

They were talking about the S/Pro $5000 bracket race that was going to be running with us that day, They combined it with a $5000 footbrake race for 6/19/11

I am still waiting a call back from Lex, reschedule date will be in September. Dont know exact date but since there are only 4 Saturdays in a month, I can narrow it down to 1 out of 4.

Yes sir!!

Rich

Now.... since this will be a "re-scheduled" race not originally on our schedule, will it count to the rule about attending all races and extra points or will this race not count towards the extra point thing???

Do off the cuff rescheduled races count towards this?  The rain out at MIR cost me the points championship in 10.5.  In the beginning of the season me and my crew guy look at all of the various series we race in.  We each commit to dates to race our own vehicle and then commit other dates to help each other out.  Kind of a you scrath my back and I scratch yours.

I agree with John. Its hard to change things around when the schedule is moved.I also missed the M.I.R. race last year since it was moved. For me we plan are whole summer around the racing schedule.Weekends that we are not racing (not many since we run to differant cars) we are working to help are customers or the wife has things planed.

Well thats one reason why I want to reschedule in September and not the next weekend after the rain. Its just not enough time for the racers to reorganize their schedules. 4 months may give you enough time to do right by the wife and possibly earn another pass.  yes
