I want to get a car count for the July 10 2011 Super Sunday Shootout at Maple Grove.
This is your time to keep the series moving ahead. Only post if your 100% sure you will make the race. As of now Rich is still deciding on canceling Maple Grove or not. Cecil was not good for the series at all! A great car count here could help out the series alot.
Lets see if we can get enough cars to keep the Maple Grove race! If your in let me know. Tell your friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was going to try the IHRA at MIR but I'll be at the Grove for AMI !!! I know of at least 4 people that were supposed to be at Cecil that didnt show haven't talked to them yet. Support for AMI at Cecil was pathetic , if people don't step up we're going to lose the BEST BY FAR Index racing series in the region ! LETS GO PEOPLE !!!!!!!!!!!! I understand Brian, It sure would be nice to race with you again.
I wasn't ready for the first race either and barely made this past one (though i had a back up car ready for the first one)
If you can't make it tell 1 or 2 or more racers about it,$1000 to win at a local track should spark some interest.
We don't want to lose this series !

I tried to have two cars for Cecil but my son's car broke an exhaust rocker and bent an intake pushrod on a cylinder 1/2 mile before the gate. Limped in and had it fixed 5 min after 2nd qualifying. At least he was able to drive it home 2 hours. We're trying...... Motor only has 2,500 passes on it and pan has never been off since it was built by Buick in 1970.  I posted a call out for racers on the V8Buick site but it seems alot would rather sit on the couch and watch old movies. |

Well, I like what I see here, thanks Brian for the push. Maple Grove is not a rental so we should be ok, but its no secret Cecil kicked my ass. But dont panic, workin on the proper pro rates and a discussion still waiting to have with Autofab to see how this is gonna work and what our agreement is. But checks are a comin. Get the racers out to this event (MAKE BRIAN WORK HIS ASS OFF) he loves it, lol. But unfortunately I wont be making this event, have pre scheduled vacation for the entire family, to take Sabrina down for her audition at Disney. But will be staying in touch by cell. Guys gotta get the cars to this event cuz I cant go to next Cecil and go thru that again.
