As posted in the canceled race thread below, this is the make up date at 75/80 for 10.00 Index. All info on the previous flyer about rules, payout and entry fee still applies. Gates will open at 12:00, and I Believe 1st qualifier will be around 2:00PM.

Matt, any idea on when the second qualifier will be? Best case scenario for me is 3:15pm at the gate.

Not sure how quick they will be able to get thru the 1st round of qualifying, but it is an all run field. I'm sure if you got there too late, we could still get you a pass before eliminations just to try the track out. If I can confirm any other info, I'll post it here.

Track was very good yesterday. I don't think anyone will be disappointed who make the trip next weekend.

that would be ok as long as they don't start eliminations before i can concievably get there.  computer mapping program says 3 hrs from shop to track.

Cutoff for pre registration is Tomorrow. You can pay the day of the event, but will not be eligible for  the extra $150. put up by MPC.

Registration has went well the last few days.We only need a few more to reach the 20 cars needed for the $1200. payout. I hope some of you can make the trip. You can pay at the gate the day of the event.

I would like to come but i am afraid i'll roll up at 3:15 - 3:30 and they'll be running eliminations. I have to work til 12 and computer mapping says 3 hours from shop to track. It would not take much to make me too late. Maybe next year.

Gates open at 12:00. Normally they will have open session around 1:00, and start 1st round of qualifying around 2:00. lee, i do understand if you can't make it. We have asked if we can be ran last in the rotation to help with those needing to travel.

if the 10.0 goes last that would help. my concern is towing that far and not get to run. i can run without a qualifying pass if they would let me or just a single before elim's start to stand for a qualifier. a projected time for the start of eliminations would be a great help in deciding if i can make it. i don't care if i get there, unload, make a pass and then go to tech if they say it's ok. it looks like i'm going to get rained out friday night at atco again and i am chompin' at the bit to kick this pig down a track somewhere. i don't want to look like i'm asking for special treatment, i just want to know what the track will let me do to make the race.

Thanks to all that attended. I believe 24 cars entered, with Mark Placinski taking the win over Justin Reggio in the finals. Very good race, and we look forward to seeing more large purse 10.00 events next year.

Thanks Matt for putting this on.

Things went smoothly at 75/80 for a change...except for the transformer blowing. Fortunately it didn't cause much of a delay. Track was hooking. 1.38 bumpng in?? Surprised me....

Man....I feel old. Got beat by Justin Reggio....he wasn't even born when I was racing at 75/80 in 1980!

Bruce, good job on your #1 qualifier. As far as being old, I started going to 75/80 at 8 years old. Your yellow and black GSX was one of my favorites, I even had one of those Photo Stick pin things they sold at the track of it.  yes

Yeah, #1 qualifier seems to be a jinx sometimes. Did that pin have my actual car on it???

You know that car still has the original paint on it AND the same motor I ran it down 75/80 a couple thousand times. I sold it for $19,000 and it was appraised a few yrs ago at $76,000!! Crazy!
