I have a Moroso crank trigger I am wiring right now, I was wondering who may have installed one before. There is a small connector that is supposed to be hooked into the wiring on to the ground wire and grounded. I am not sure why it needs to be when the (+) and the (-) are going back to the box anyway, what is the purpose of the additional pigtailed ground?

Funny when I look up directions online, they dont have them for my 60006 trigger, and all the others dont show the connector that was included with mine. There instructions dont show that step in theirs....weird.
