My opinion is................Great idea, lousy portrayal, sorry..............Just hate anyone who knows nothing about drag racing to judge us according to that trainwreck. Remember guys thats just my .02.

It is a fair observation Rich.  It is hard for me to see it other than someone who knows this is not the typical Satrurday night racing program.

I think anyone that understand lose the race lose your ride would know this is not what we call drag racing

It's 'reality tv', it's supposed to loud and goofy to a point.
Egos and stupidity abound and people lose a strong wager because of it. I love it.

A couple of weeks after the CAM show taping, the loser contacted the winner and asked to meet with him.
He was a mid 20s kid and showed up with a pregnant young wife, a note from his doctor saying he couldn't work since he lost his car because of mental distress and a checkbook with a $1200 balance.
The Firebird owner sold him the car back for $1100 less the bumpers.
